In this decade we have the three outer planets changing from negative to positive signs all within a small amount of time. In this blog I have descriptions for those three planets and what they represent in the modern world. What follows is a brief recap of how I see these planets.
Moving from the outermost planet, Pluto represents the One-Percent, the Deep State, everything with “Big” in front of its name, such as Big Agriculture, Big Pharma, Big Oil, etc. And of course the Military industrial Complex or the National Security State or the Power Elite or whatever term you are most comfortable with. As I’ve mentioned in a previous entry (https://500yearparty.com/2025/07/) the conflict between the Pluto Class and the Uranus Class (described below) is the major conflict of our time, playing out in many different forms, though many people (especially those in the Pluto Class or their enablers) want you to ignore this or pretend that it really doesn’t matter.
Neptune is the Virtual World (that is the World Wide Web) and also confusion and deception and disinformation. It represents everything that is not natural but artificial, such as — most notably in this current time — artificial intelligence. Many have compared the development of this virtual world to the invention of the printing press 500 years earlier. The first major item printed with movable type is called the Gutenberg Bible, printed in the 1450s under a Uranus-Pluto conjunction. But of course — since things moved much slower then — it took many years for the effects of movable type to be felt in Europe. Consider the Internet — first used in 1969 — and the World Wide Web — which made the Internet accessible to the average person — developed in 1993 under the Uranus-Neptune conjunction. The printing press had enormous ramifications for the world at large in the last 500 year; the Neptune World Wide Web will have even more profound effects on the world over the next 500 years. This shows the potency of Neptune, but along with it comes the mass confusion, lying, and gas-lighting. Perhaps Neptune will even bring forth a new spiritual mindset, since spirituality is also a manifestation of Neptune, even though it is extremely difficult to observe in most people and especially in governments. In the composition The Planets by Gustav Holst — something ever astrologer should be familiar with — the term associated with Neptune is “The Mystic”.
Uranus represents the people, those who are not in the Pluto class, the common folk, the ” salt of the earth”. In our modern world the dichotomy of Right versus Left is being replaced by the dichotomy of Up versus Down, where Up is Pluto and Down is Uranus. As the poet Shelley wrote in the Masque of Anarchy “Ye are many — they are few” which could be rephrased as “Uranus is many, Pluto is few”. This is the conflict that will be animating the upcoming years — we already see it playing out in real time — even though certain people (hint: Pluto) will try hard to get other people to not believe this conflict, or make them side with Pluto.
Outer Planet Ingresses
Here is a graphical ephemeris for the period from May 10, 2022 to the beginning of April 2027. It is in the sixth harmonic, which means the 0 Aries line — black horizontal line half way down with the red Aries sign to the left of it — represents the start of all positive signs: Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Since Uranus goes into Gemini, Neptune goes into Aries, and Pluto goes into Aquarius all of those sign cusps are represent by that black line.
We see the first sign ingress is by Pluto (marked by the 1) in April of 2023. This indicates the rise of the Pluto Power. And looking at the real world you can see that happening on a daily basis. Pluto is finally permanently in Aquarius (at least for 250 years) in early November 2024, just in time for the United States election. Indeed the Pluto Class is riding high.

But for the United States we also see Pluto make a decisive turn: the Pluto Return — the first for a country since governments usually don’t last as long as one Pluto cycle before changing– which occurs in 2022 and 2023. Since this Pluto Return is unique for countries, what we are seeing now is also unique in history. Stand back and watch the Pluto Return plays out as you attempt to ignore it. Pluto first returned to its natal location in early 2022 (marked as 1) and the final brushing the natal position was late 2023.

Then Neptune brushes with a change of sign (at 2 in Outer Planet Ingresses) in July of 2024 and then clearly moves into Aries in April of 2025, finally moving into the new sign for good (at least for 168 years) in February of 2026. And we can certainly see the signs of Neptune activity around us. Nothing is as it seems, we can not trust anything that is said or written or televised, not even your own senses. We have to check many sources. And the virtual world is getting overwhelming, with tales of people being swept up with these virtual events.

For the United State we have a Neptune demi-return, which happens every 84 years, and in this position — opposite the natal Neptune — once every 168 years. This demi-return happens in in 2021 (at 2 above) and 2022. But there is also Neptune opposite the Midheaven of the United States and, something that will affect the world at large and not just the US, Neptune conjunct the Aries point. These happen in 2024, 2025, and 2026. So plenty of Neptunian confusion to go around.

But Uranus has yet to fully change signs. That planet’s first ingress into Gemini took place in July 2025 (at 3 in Outer Planet Ingresses) but then retreats into Taurus. Uranus finally moves into its new sign in May of 2026 (at least for 84 years). Since Pluto and Neptune have been in their new signs for a time, it will take a while for the effects of Uranus to be clearly visible. There are already signs of its activities, but you have to be on the lookout to see them. Ultimately Uranus rules awakening and that is what humanity must do if it is to escape Pluto-Neptune trap that is engulfing the world.

The United States will get heavy dose of Uranus in the second half of this decade. First we have Uranus square the Moon of the US in 2025 and 2026 (at 1 below). Then we have the Uranus Return for the United States, the third such since the birth of the country — in 2027 and 2028 (at 2). Finally we have Uranus crossing the Descendant of the United States in 2028 and 2029 (3) . Quite a bout of Uranus for the United States is coming up.

Notice that the final sign change of Neptune occurs just a few months before the final sign change of Uranus. Thus we will see all the Neptunian fog over the Uranian change and thus be unable to really see what is going on. Thus when the final Uranian awakening takes places it will come as a complete surprise to most people and to the mass media.
The play that is this decade can be divided into three acts astrologically. While you could also call this decade a novel with three chapters, a play with three acts is much more common than a novel with three chapters, so I’ll use the theater metaphor.
Just as in a play the first act sets up the characters that will drive the plot forward. In this case, as I’ve mentioned previously, there are three main events — Covid, Ukraine, Gaza (with the epiphenomenon of Donald J. Trump, who had appeared in the third act of a previous play) — that developed in the early years of this decade and will drive the plot of this decade forward. The third act is where the outcome is shown, the denouement (unraveling) of the play occurs. The middle act is where the plot develops and the characters/events introduced at the beginning behave in ways that will lead to the final outcomes. We are in Act Two now.
Neptune Demi-Return
The first act has as its highlights the Pluto return and the Neptune demi-return. The Pluto return has never occurred before in American history — the 250th anniversary of America is coming up in 2026 and the cycle of Pluto is approximately 250 years so you do the math. The Neptune demi-return occurred before in 1859. The previous Neptune Return was in 1940. The previous post summarized Act One in more detail.

The second act consists of Uranus square the US Moon, Neptune opposite the U S Midheaven and also on the Aries point. As a special bonus we have Saturn conjunct Neptune when Neptune is at those points. This conjunction happened before in 1989 (without Aries Point involvement) which saw the fall of Communist countries in Europe and then the fall of the Soviet Union. This represented a major change in the Twentieth Century. Uranus made a previous opening square to the US Moon in 1941 and most Americans know what happened at that time. The previous Uranus conjunct the Moon happened in 2003 when the US attacked the country of Iraq in what is called the Second Gulf War. So the most likely scenario is a war starting, but already we have so many wars that is difficult to keep track. There is the most overt war between the United States and Russia since the end of the First World War, when President Wilson (along with many other countries) sent troops into Russia to defeat the Russian Revolution. We have a war, financed by the US, of Israel in Gaza. Other possible wars are with Iran and Venezuela. And of course there is always China. And more soon to come. This is not what were expecting by a “Peace President”.

During this act all three other planets change sign: Pluto goes into Aquarius (2023 and 2024) Neptune goes into Aries (2024, 2025, and 2026) and Uranus goes into Gemini (2025 and 2026).

The last time these three outer planets changed into those signs was in the period 1523 through 1534, a much longer period than this time. which allowed Uranus to move into Cancer before Neptune went into Aries and Pluto into Aquarius.

To mark the half way point in this 500 year party, we saw Pluto go into Aquarius in 1778, Uranus go into Gemini in 1774, and Neptune go into Libra — the sign opposite Aries– in 1778 and 1779. This was the height of the Enlightenment which also saw the birth of the U.S. Some people have called the period we are entering the “Endarkenment” since the lessons of 250 years ago seem to be forgotten.

The last act is the Uranus Return and Uranus on the Descendant of the US. The previous Uranus Return was 1943, 1944, and 1945. The previous Uranus on the US Descendant was 1944, 1945, and 1946. That period, the last couple of years of the Second World War and the early postwar period saw tremendous changes to the Unites States, the United States government, and the world in general. We are still living in the world created at that time. We also have Pluto conjunct the South Node of the Moon and a trine of Uranus and Pluto, which will be dealt with separately.

At the end of the play or novel that is this decade we need to get ready for the sequel: This has been a waxing decade and the waning decade pair (after the Jupiter-Saturn opposition which take place at the end of 2029, end of April 2030, and about Thanksgiving (US) 2030) will come after. Being the second half of a Jupiter-Saturn cycle we will see things developed that were hinted at in the first decade of the cycle, much like sequels often do. For example think of the Seventies as a sequel to the Sixties or the Nineties as a sequel to the Eighties. Spoiler Alert: Even though we’ve seen plenty of Neptune so far in this decade, for the US the first three years of the next decade will see even more Neptune, with Neptune trine the Ascendant and square the Sun.
The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity
I’ve previously talked about all the important astrological events taking place this decade. So far we’ve seen two of them already occur. The first item (#1) is the demi-return of Neptune to the US Neptune in 2021 and 2022. The three previous returns or demi-returns, happening about every 84 years, were in 1938 and 1939, 1857 and 1858, and 1774 and 1775. I think you can see a pattern.
This Decade
The second item was the Pluto Return 2021, 2022, 2023 (#4). This is Pluto returning to the position it had at the birth of the United States in 1776. Of note is the Pluto demi-return in 1936, 1937, and 1938, the “Roosevelt Depression” that followed the height of the New Deal as a response to the Great Depression. The opening square of Pluto corresponded to the Mexican-American War and especially the aftermath, which expanded the United States by adding California, most of Arizona and New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and some of Colorado. This was the biggest expansion of America in history, bigger than the Louisiana Purchase some forty years previously. This will be discussed further at a later time. This was a big expansion of the United States. The closing square of Pluto to its natal position was in 1982 and 1983 and the beginning onslaught of neo-liberalism under Ronald Reagan. One could see this period as the true end of the New Deal. This would change American for decades to come. Also note that there was a midpoint configuration of the three outer planets just before this Pluto square.
And we can already see the early results of this Pluto Return in the reshaping of America that we see now. In 2016 and the election of Donald Trump I described him as a farce. In the type of theater known as a farce, the main character often has a physical characteristic that sets him apart. In a farce everything is exaggerated so we can see what is really happening. Obviously in the first act of the Trump farce people did not pick up on what was happening so we have a rerun that is more farcical than ever — the farce level is turned up to 11. Donald Trump is not sui generis. He is just a continuation of Presidential actions that have gone on at least since Harry Truman right after World War II. As an example, billionaires have always run the government but they were usually wise enough to stay behind the scenes. Now we have a billionaire running the government right out in the open so all can see. All presidents, at least for several decades, have performed unconstitutional acts but they were wise enough to do so in secrecy. But now we have a president who trashes the Constitution out in the open. All government is corrupt, the higher the level the more corrupt, but now with Trump the corruption is so brazen one hardly knows where to begin pointing it out. All subtly is gone, the blatancy knows no bounds. One hopes that the audience figures out the corruption is wide-spread. A problem occurs when people think “my teams is good, they never do anything bad. Everything is the fault of the other team”.
It’s a big club and you ain’t in it
In the last decade we’ve seen the phenomenon know as Trump Derangement Syndrome – TDS. TDS 1.0 was better know as Russiagate – the belief that Donald Trump had been put into office with the nefarious schemes of Vladimer Putin, the evil dictator of Russia. After Trump’s first term there developed TDS 2.0. He was a lead insurrectionist, he was trying to overthrow the election!! He was a multiple felon. I’m sure all those charges made Team Blue members feel good but others might not be so sanguine. Now with his second term we see TDS 3.0 wherein Trump sold out the US to his boss Putin. Unfortunately this covers up the real crimes of Donald Trump. Class War has been practiced for a long time but Mister Trump has found a way to make it acceptable to other classes (not him or his associates). Now that other class believe he is fighting for them when he is actually fighting for his class. What a perfect con. In fact this is the best Presidential Con of all time.
We are also seeing another form of TDS. This is the belief among the supporters that Trump is almost perfect, he can do no wrong. In this case we have Trump Devotion Syndrome. It is if his devoted followers are a parody of the supporters of most other candidates. These followers are so devoted that whatever their leader does they will excuse it, even if it directly conflicts with what he told them before the election. He was going to drain the swamp even though it is clear he is a member of the swamp. He was going to get to the bottom of the Epstein case, even though he now says it is merely a Democrat made-up story. But still, to his supporters, Trump is the Man.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss
This reminds one of the terms of President Obama. In 2009 we were impressed by the first African American president who was bringing “Hope and Change”, also known as hopium. One would hope that scenes like the following would disabuse his followers: The Secretary of State under his first term laughed when a leader of a foreign nation was homosexually raped and then killed. I guess rape is funny if it happens to someone we don’t like. Then the most prosperous nation in Africa was reduced by the action of the first AA President to having open air slave markets. And the response of people to this action: crickets. Obama was called the Deporter In Chief because he deported more people than all other presidents including Trump. Obama was going to save the middle class, but after his election he bailed out all the bankers whose rash actions caused the financial crisis of 2007-2009, while many people lost their homes as a result. But no one who voted for him got upset. No one was satisfied with the current state of healthcare so Obama put in place a health care plan that was conceived by the same organization that created Project 2025, and that had been previously used by a Republican governor, but no one seemed to care.

Note the transits during the first Obama term: Neptune was conjunct (#1 below) the Moon of the United States — the people are living under illusion — and also sesquiquadrate the Sun (#2 below) of the US — the government is also suffering from illusion. Note that natally the Sun and the Moon are related by a hard aspect, a sesquiquadrate, suggesting that there is always a conflict between the government (Sun) and the People (Moon).
Eighth Harmonic Graphical Ephemeris First Obama Term
Now we have “Trump and Change” (not to be confused with Chump Change) which is seducing people. Neptune is opposite the Midheaven of the US so again Neptune is strong. Many believe that this time it will be different. People always say that when their favored candidate wins. Many think that since Donald Trump is a maverick he must be better than all those “conventional” presidents. They cheer everything he does. But Trump is basing his crimes on the crimes of previous Presidents that were never called out, but making them more obvious. Hopefully many in the United States will wake up and realize the travesty that recent Presidents have been. Trump 2.0 is a very big wake-up call. If people do not pay attention what will come after Trump will be much more deadly and gruesome.
Neptune Opposite US Midheaven First Time
The difference between the Republicans and the Democrats — simply put — is that the Republicans believe that control of life should be left to the corporations while the Democrats believe the control of life should be left to the government, which is controlled by the corporations, so this is a distinction without a difference. But the two parties can appeal to different groups of people.

Various radical groups, such as the Black Agenda Report, have long considered the Democrats as the more effective evil. Everyone with intelligence knew the Republican were evil, but the Democrats were smart enough to hide their evilness and pretend they were “for the people”. But the roles are now reversed. Everyone should know that the Democrats support the elite classes, but the Republicans under Donald Trump hide their evilness and pretend they are now “for the people”. The Republicans are now the more effective evil and so are especially dangerous. It’s all a con and Trump now is the biggest con.
Laugh about it, shout about it, When you’ve got to choose, Every way you look at it, you lose
All presidents oversee the transfer of money to corporations who pay for the political parties but Trump has made this transfer of money upward clear for all to see with what he has called (probably lacking irony) a Big Beautiful Bill. Everyone can, or should, be able to see
But the farce of Donald Trump is just one sign that the whole world has jumped on the farce bandwagon. Take for example Israel’s war on Gaza (which still doesn’t have a fixed name). This war is clearly Trumpian. It should be obvious to any living soul that it is a genocide and many major war crimes are being committed, but many many people expend energy trying to pretend it isn’t and looking the other way. So something that is way over the top in evilness is though by many to be just business as usual. And perhaps it is. And if that is so, perhaps we need to examine what normal business really is. Maybe that is the clear lesson of this decade: Everything is being revealed; we can no longer hide from the truth of what has been happening for a long time, it is so in-your-face obvious that you really have to work to not notice it. Even though this is ugly it will prove to be a good thing: The End of Illusion that Neptune is providing. People were shocked when they saw pictures of skeletal figures after the Holocaust during World War II, but by that time it was too late to do anything. Now we see live-streamed pictures of skeletal figures and look the other way. This is progress?
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist
But what Trump intends to do is shift even more money from the Uranus Class to the Pluto Class, Everyone wants to do this but Trump convinced people (the Uranus Class) that he is on their side. Another example of a big, beautiful con. And ultimately Trump wants to bring about the Pluto future I mentioned in the previous post. But he has managed to convince people he is the Deep State’s biggest enemy.
Perhaps the shouting by the TDS 3.0 group hides the true evilness of Donald J. Trump, our first billionaire President. To best describe this involves the use of Pluto and Uranus as outlined in the previous post. It appears that there are two things he really wants: To shift power and money, even more than it already is, from the Uranus Class to the Pluto Class. And ultimately to bring about the future that the Pluto Class desires. But he was very clever in convincing parts of the Uranus Class that he was really on their side. Certainly this was a Great Big Beautiful Con.
Sometimes Satan comes as a man of Peace

Just a few days ago Israel waged a preemptive attack on the country of Iran to prevent it from building nuclear weapons, much like Japan waged a preemptive attack on the American base in Pearl Harbor just 84 years ago to prevent the United States from building nuclear weapons with which to attack Japan. In this current case the United States is deeply involved with the Israeli attack.

Looking at the chart for the first strike we see Mars square Uranus with Mars in the first house. This is an astrological cliche for an accident, but more broadly it can been seen as an unexpected or sudden use of energy or military might. But if we look at the chart in respect to the Israel chart we see something even more fascinating: This was the Mars return for Israel, something that happens every two years when Mars returns to its natal position and so things are even more martial. But this also means that Uranus was squaring the natal Mars of Israel at this moment. It almost seems overdetermined that Israel would do something rash and bold and unexpected at this moment.

If we look at the chart for Iran at the moment of attack nothing seems to stand out. Neptune is prominent. There is a wide conjunction of Neptune/Saturn with the Iranian Sun. The transiting Sun is opposite the Iranian Neptune. The transiting Neptune-Saturn is sesquiquadrate the Iran Ascendant. It appears that deception took place, The United states was in the process of negotiations with Iran at the time, and Iran was led to believe that they would not be attacked while negotiations were on going and so perhaps Iran did not expect anything. Notice also that Uranus is moving to conjoin the Moon of Iran. This will be more important in 2026, but as we will see with the United States Moon Uranus hard aspects often signify war. At the very least, it signifies that the populace is exited, something that the Iranian population is already doing/being.

Here is the chart of the United States, which was involved with this attack, at the time of the attack. There is a wide square of Uranus to the Moon, but the square was exact about a month earlier and transiting Mars was opposite the US Moon the day before the attack.

And here is the chart for the attack of Pearl Harbor just one Uranus cycle before now. Instead of Saturn conjoined the outer planet Neptune we have Saturn conjoining the outer planet Uranus, and they are both square the US Moon, And of course Neptune is conjunct the MC of the US, one half Neptune Cycle before now, when Neptune is opposite the US MC.

Finally looking at the graphical ephemeris for Israel over this year we see that Pluto is opposite the Moon of Israel and there was a Mars Pluto tight aspect on the Israeli Moon is late April of this year. Earlier this year Uranus was conjunct the Israeli Sun, indicating much excitement in the government of Israel. Uranus then when on to excite the Israel Mars and as you can see the exact aspect was at about the time of the attack.

In the future Pluto will continue to opposite the Israel Moon suggesting strong change in the citizens of that country, Also continuing will be Uranus squaring the Israeli Mars, suggesting further use of military means,
This Summer will bring some important astrological formations which among other things illustrates the astrology of the decade. This decade sees the returns or demi-returns of the three outer planets. All in all it is a packed decade.
Grand Trine and More
On August 9, 2025 there will be a beautiful formation of the ten planets in both a world chart and in comparison to the US chart. While it does not suggest that anything will happen on that particular day, it does show graphically an overview of forces that are operative at the time. Of course, so many events of note are happening this year that there will certainly be some this August: it is like shooting fish in a barrel. Lets Look at them.
The Saturn-Neptune conjunction is at the Aries point. A Saturn-Neptune conjunction happens every 36 years; the last one was in 1989 which saw the fall of the Berlin Wall and in the next years the fall of the Soviet Union and related governments; that conjunction was in the middle of Capricorn. The one before that was in 1953 at about 20 Libra. Before that in 1917 in early Leo. I don’t know when previously there was conjunction at 0 Aries but it must have been a very long time ago. If we assume that every degree in the zodiac eventually sees the conjunction, and since the cycle happens every 36 years, then the last time this conjunction happened at 0 Aries was 360 times 36 or about 13,000 years ago
There is a mini-Grand Trine – a trine and two sextiles — between Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, with Neptune at the crux point which is also conjunct Saturn and the Aries point. Neptune is also at the midpoint of Uranus-Pluto. This midpoint configuration (and not part of a Grand Trine of those three planets) happens every 500 years, but the last time they formed an aspect was 2500 years ago — about 576 BCE — and that was a conjunction. Thus there is the midpoint configuration and the aspect configuration. The midpoint last longer than the aspect as can be seen in the two graphical ephemerides below.

This graphical ephemeris is in the sixth harmonic so sextiles and trine look like conjunctions. You can see how the three planets come together in 2024 and stay together until 2029.

In this graphical ephemeris the midpoint of Uranus and Pluto (slightly darker line) is plotted along with Neptune. You can see how closely the two lines stick together from 2023 through 2028 and are within a couple of degrees of each other from 2021 through 2031.
Saturn-Neptune opposite Mars along the cardinal axis. Mars is opposite that Saturn-Neptune conjunction right along the cardinal axis of 0 Aries/0 Libra. That gives more kick to the conjunction.
Uranus, Pluto, and Mars form a fairly tight Grand Trine.
Moon semisquare Saturn-Neptune and sesquiquadrate Mars. Sun sesquiquadrate Saturn-Neptune and semisquare Mars, so that that Full Moon is a diagonal to the rectangle formed by Sun, Moon, Saturn,Neptune, and Mars.
And a Mercury Pluto opposition reflecting the Mercury Pluto opposition in the natal chart of the US.
And for good measure a Full Moon.

When we look at this chart within the chart of the United states it gets even more interesting. We see the following: The Saturn-Neptune is on the IC of the United States and thus opposite the Midheaven of the US. That places Mars directly on the MC of the US. Thus the “spine” of the US — the MC/IC axis — is energized by the Mars opposite Saturn Neptune.

` A good graphical representation of how this complex of planets hits the Midheaven of the US chart is to look at a sixth harmonic chart. In the sixth harmonic trines and sextiles appear as conjunctions. If you look at the MC of the US you see quite a pile-up.

But earlier in the Summer there is another set of transits that pictorially are not as pretty but still important. The opening square of Jupiter and Saturn happens three times, the last time in Summer of 2025; this marks the beginning of the second half of this decade. But since Saturn is conjunct Neptune there is also a Jupiter square Neptune at almost the same time and in fact just three days separate the Jupiter Saturn and Jupiter Neptune squares.

Earlier in the Summer Uranus squares the Moon on May 15, the only time the square is exact this cycle. However on the first of February 2026 Uranus retrogrades to within a quarter degree of an exact square. These two images illustrate the exact square in 2025 and the almost exact square of 2026. Below that is a graphical ephemeris that illustrates the exact (1) and almost exact (2) squares where you can see that Uranus retrogrades and approaches the Moon but turns direct just before it squares the Moon.
Three events define the first half of this decade. Of course there were many other defining events, but these three rate special notice for several reasons, the first of which is that when the second event started the first almost disappeared from public consciousness. When the third event started the second almost disappeared from public consciousness. This exclusiveness is one thing that set these events apart. These are also the three events that will shape the way the second half of this decade plays out, with the ramification, realizations, and renouncements shaping the way the decade finally ends.
Neptune at Aries Point
As Neptune approaches the Aries Point we should pay special attention to the use and misuse of propaganda, something that is truly ruled by Neptune. Neptune got within four minutes of the Aries Point in July 2024 (1) only to turn retrograde as if the thought of a Fire Sign was too much to bear; then at the end of March 2025, a week after the Vernal Equinox, Neptune truly enters Aries (2) and then retrogrades and skates along the Aries Point from Fall of 2025 (3) through Winter of 2026 (4) before finally ensconcing into Aries in February of 2026.
There were conventional and dissident views on all three events, but the power behind the crushing of the dissident point of view was so strong in all three cases that you know there was much force behind the conventional view. It was not just “Oh so you disagree with me, that’s life” but rather if you disagree with the conventional viewpoint you are an apostate, a sinner, you stand against everything holy. The use of religious metaphors is not an accident. One is reminded of the Inquisition. The name calling by those holding the conventional view of those holding a dissident view was extreme as examples later will show.
I also want to look at these three moments in terms of the left-right paradigm. As I’ve expressed before I think this dichotomy is outdated but it is still very much used. And though those terms are used in ways that are way beyond the limits of what the words mean I will still use them without double quotes around the words to save typing, but you can imagine that double quotes are present.
Since this period includes what I call the Sixth Crisis we need to mention the Fifth Crisis which was World War II. One of the big items of the Fifth Crisis was the Nazis which we will see reflections of in this Sixth Crisis. People misunderstand what Nazis are. Perhaps because of much propaganda many believe that the Nazis were only killers of Jews. This is wrong, the Nazis were against the untermenschen — under people or subhumans — not only Jewish people but Romany, disabled, homosexuals, you name it, anybody not Aryan or ubermenschen. And so under people can be the common people, Russians, or Palestinians, those who don’t meet certain “standards”.
I’ll outline the conventional view first but, since it is conventional, I will not devote that much space to it. If you don’t know the conventional view by heart you likely were asleep for the last five years. More space will be used to discuss the dissident view but, since it is dissident, there are many variations possible. I’ll just try to limn out the basic ideas.
The first big crisis of this third decade of the Twenty-First Century was Covid-19 and the ensuing vaccine. The people who saw through this for the most part were on the right, which gave those on the left ample cause to jeer. And of course those on the left who also saw through the propaganda were now considered to be on the right.
Covid-19 Declared a Pandemic
Covid-19 was an infection that was the greatest pandemic to strike the world since the Spanish Flu of 1918. Measures such as lockdowns, masks, and avoiding large groups (“social distancing”) were necessary and enforced to keep the people safe. Nonetheless there was a huge amount of dying over the years 2020 and beyond. This crisis was finally abated by the introduction of a vaccine that was both safe and effective. These vaccines were developed under “Operation Warp Speed” (OWS) in record time, using a novel technology that had never been used in the public before. Many were forced with a government mandate to get what was called “the jab” because nobody is safe unless everybody complies . There were various technologies used to create these vaccines and the most popular in Western countries was messenger RNA — mRNA. This vaccine was introduced shortly after the previous president — who oversaw OWS — left office.
The alternate view had it that an artificially-created virus was developed in Wuhan China with American funding which spread around the world. It caused a mild respiratory distress, much like the Asian Flu of 1958-59 or the Hong Kong flu of 1968-69 which is considered one of the deadliest pandemics in history (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_flu). Many have seen the movie of people practicing social distancing on a farm in upstate New York in the summer of 1969 while watching live music during the Hong Kong flu epidemic. This disease would have stricken few and they could have been cured by early treatment using the same substances that were found effective with an earlier corona viruses. Also adequate vitamin D in a body would have reduced infection. But none of those treatments were owned by large companies so little profit could be realized by using them. Instead early treatment was discouraged and hospital patients were treated with ventilators and an [official] drug whose nickname was “run death is near”. The death toll was elevated by bogus PCR tests and redefinition of other diseases, such as flu and cancer and even automobile accidents, as a death from Covid-19. Antibiotics were not used even though many had pneumonia, which was redefined as Covid-19 when they died. The stress engendered by lockdowns, social distancing, and other measure was so great that many succumbed to the affects of the intense stress. Early treatments were prevented so that a vaccine using a new technology could be rushed into service without the usual 10 years of testing. `
Vaccine Mandate Declared
The amount of death world-wide due to the vaccines number in the millions, with many more disabled and even more injured. Some of the diseases caused are various heart aliments and clots and an aggressive type of cancer called turbo-cancer. Most people, especially on the left, are not willing to look at the real misinformation and they will be horribly crushed when the truth comes out. All the news media have been active in covering up the excessive death and injury even though most insurance companies are aware of them. As they say, the cover up is worse than the crime. And when the cover-up unravels things will be different!
Many compared the treatment of people with experimental drugs as similar to what got a lot of Nazi doctors hanged and led to the creation of the Nuremberg Code that prohibits lack of informed consent in medical procedures. Many are calling for a Nuremberg 2.0 to take a look at the massive lack of informed consent. One outspoken dissident with real world experience is Vera Sharav, a holocaust survivor who has been vehement in her condemnation of the massive medical experiment.
There were strong terms used to condemn those who took a dissident view, such as “anti-vaxxer” or “right-wing conspiracy theorist”. Many important people appeared on the media to condemn those who held such divergent views. The left, which traditionally supported bodily autonomy (“My body my choice”) and informed consent were totally against those things in this case. The left is also aware of “regulatory capture” wherein large corporations capture the government agencies which supposedly regulate those same corporations, rending any restriction on their activities minor. But now it was big tobacco, bad; big oil, bad; but big pharma, so good we will trust it with out life (literally). Many on the left are concerned with the chemicals they take in, so pesticide-free organic food and GMO free food is important, but using the much more rapid means of ingestion which was injection is not at all suspicious. On the other hand, the right supports the behavior of corporations, thinking that corporations are truly part of the American Way. Big business is swell, they think. And no “My body, my choice’. But here they reversed themselves. One strange outcome of the Covid-19 debacle was the switching positions of the right and the left. I guess, as Emerson said, consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.
The second event of note was the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a bordering country, on February 24, 2022. The conventional stance on this issue is that the brutal leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, wants to recreate the old Soviet Union and eventually conqueror Europe. Russia’s unprovoked invasion of neighboring Ukraine was just the first step in his big plans. If we — the United States and Europe — don’t stop him in Ukraine the West will have to stop Russia in Europe or America.
The dissent view — which takes note of history — points out contributing factors. In 1990 the United States told the leader of the Soviet Union that if East and West Germany could reunite and join NATO then NATO would not expand “one inch eastward”. Since then NATO has doubled in size with a number of new countries, most of which were either part of the Soviet Union or aligned with the Soviet Union. Russia realized that the word of the West was meaningless.

Then in 2014 there was a Nazi coup in Ukraine that was supported (at the very least) by the United States. This Maidan Revolution (named for the public square in Kiev where it began) overthrew a democratically leader of the country. Then began a civil war between Ukranine and the Russians who make up the Eastern part of the country. Russia tried for years to settle these disputes to no avail and finally when a larger number of Russian were going to be killed (according to the UN) did Russia invade the country. Immediately Russia tried to end that dispute with agreements but the country was rebuffed at every turn.

In this the name calling had the dissidents as “Putin puppets” unable to think for themselves but only following Kremlin propaganda. Obviously US and NATO propaganda was truthful.
The left and the right both supported this dissident view (to a minor extent). There was even an anti-war rally called “Rage Against the War Machine” that attracted both the left and the right. But some on the left would not attend because some evil people on the right were present, and some on the right would not attend because of the evil people on the left that were present.
Z – Special Military Operation
The third event started with the unprovoked attack on a settlement and dance party in Israel by the terrorist Hamas, an organization that politically controlled Gaza. This terrorist group must be destroyed if the citizens of Israel are to be able to live in peace. Hamas wants to create a new holocaust and is solely motivated by its hatred of Jews just like the Nazis. There were 1200 Israelis killed in the attack, which also included mass rape and the beheading of babies. No one was safe in this horrible act.

The alternative view of this third crisis was that there was a revolt from “the world’s largest open air prison” ( Human Rights Watch) which upset the government of Israel that ran the prison and that country used this revolt as an excuse to drive the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip away from that territory so that Israel could once again take over that area. Much like slave revolts in the South of America, such as those of Nat Turner or Denmark Vesey, this revolt was not nice or pretty but totally understandable.
This dissident view holds that there were no rapes during the attack and only one child was killed and by accident. Of the 1200 killed, just over 300 were military and, according to an Israeli newspaper, over 300 of those killed were killed by the Israeli military, but since no complete investigation was done we really have no idea how many were really killed by the Israeli military.
And of course the all-in-one epithet condemning Hamas and all those who made even a mild criticize of what Israel is doing as antisemitism, thus conflating Zionism — the driving force behind the creation of Israel — with Judaism, which is a spiritual belief.
The right in general were extremely supportive of the Israeli side — definitely no anti-Semites here. While the right has long bemoaned those snowflakes who got upset when someone criticized them, condemning the whole woke culture of the Left, the right was in a hurry to support the Jewish snowflakes who were upset that some were criticizing the State of Israel. Are we seeing the birth of the”Woke Right”? In a world were the terrorist organization which is an offshoot of Al Qaeda is now rebranded as a ruler of Syria since they are now woke such a change is certainly possible.
The left was more supportive of the Palestinian side since many are aware of the apartheid nature of Israel, but still many on the left support Israel, perhaps because they are ashamed that America did not allow Jewish refugees to enter the country during World War II or refused to bomb the rail lines to the death camps in Nazi Germany.
Hades-Kronos Conjunction
Uranian sidebar: Beginning in 2010 there was a conjunction between two Trans-Neptunian planets, Hades and Kronos. The name Hades — Greek name for Pluto — suggests some of the disgust engendered by the planet. For an example from real Life, on 9/11 Hades was conjunct the Natal Mars of the United States with an orb of three minutes. Kronos — the Greek equivalent of Saturn — is said to rule high things like skyscrapers, governments, other large organizations. On 9/11 Kronos was at 0 Cancer and square the MC of the US. Perhaps this conjunction is like a super Saturn-Pluto conjunction. In a personal example, as a young child I had transiting Hades opposite my Sun, and that Spring I had a number of illnesses, the worst of which was encephalitis lethargica, which put me in a coma for three weeks.
These two planets came into a conjunction about 2010 and the conjunction will continue until 2050 with the exact conjunction happening at the end of this decade. From the graphical ephemeris it can be seen the Hades (‘C’ with a cross) is closely even thought it is a fourth harmonic graphical ephemeris, both planets are really in Cancer) conjunct the US Sun from 2022 through 2025 and Kronos (cross with a lid on)from 2020 to 2024. In the 2030s both planets conjoin the US Mercury, representing the Press. There can be two quite opposite meanings, and I believe both will come to pass. In the negative realm there will be much death and widespread corruption, which of course we are already seeing. But on a positive side this conjunction could mean reaching a higher plane through disgust with the current reality. We shall see what the future brings. But for now, everything is broken.
In astrology the birth chart of an entity such as a person or country is seen to describe the entity. To see how two entities interact it is valuable to compare the two charts. For example, if the Venus from one chart is conjoined the Venus of the second chart, one could say that the two entities have similar romantic attractions or simply it is love at first sight; they will be sympathetic towards each other.
Both the United States and Israel, having been founded in recent times, have good birth charts. When we compare those two charts we see a number of connections but I only want to talk about the few that I consider the most important. You can see how these connection play out in real life (IRL) by just paying attention to the happenings.
The Core of America at #1
The core of America is symbolized by the Venus tightly conjunct Jupiter and those two planets are loosely conjunct the Sun of the US. This triple conjunction, involving the two benefics and the essential planet the Sun, is important to America. One can imagine an astrologer of the time – -such as Ebenezer Sibly — looking at the chart and predicting very fortunate things happening to the new country.

The Israel Venus is conjunct both the Venus and Jupiter of the US and Israel’s Venus is actually on the midpoint on Venus and Jupiter. Thus Israel is strongly connected to the fundamental part (Sun, Venus, Jupiter) of the US. The US feels a strong affinity and connection to the relatively recent new country of Israel.

Most telling are the Mars (War!) connections with the Sun and Moon of the United States The tightest aspect is a semisquare between the Israel Mars and the US Sun (#1) which is almost exact. This suggests that we supply most of the weapons that Israel uses. This Mars is also opposite the Moon of the US (#2). Thus it appears that the martial quality of Israel is strongly connected with the US government (Sun) and people (Moon). To anyone who is paying attention this is strongly shown daily. America provides many weapons of war to Israel and Israel’s war aims are important for the government of United States.
There is the Important transit of Uranus square the US Moon and square the Israeli Mars for the next couple of years as illustrated below by a graphical ephemeris of both countries. The contact points to both the US Moon and the Israeli Mars are at #1, #3, and #5 during 2024, 2025, 2026. Expect action!

The USA Mars is conjunct the Uranus of Israel. This suggests that the Israeli notion of independence and freedom (that was so important to America’s colonials) feels by the US to need American military assistance to maintain the freedom and independence of Israel, which it certainly receives.

There is a tight trine between the Israel Pluto and the Ascendant of the US shown at #2 below. For an example of what Pluto and the Ascendant can mean, recall that on 9/11 Pluto (Force Majeur) was conjunct the US Ascendant. Since this is a trine it is not overpowering but the will of Israel will be strongly reflected in the US. Natally the US has a tight semisquare with Pluto so that Pluto-Ascendants make Israel feel “part of the family”.

Another connection is the Saturn of Israel semisquare the MC of the US shown at #1 above. To me this suggest a sense of responsibility (a Saturn word) felt by the US towards Israel. Perhaps this comes because in June of 1939 the US turned away a ship of Jewish refugees from Germany or that during the War the United States refused to bomb railroads heading to death camps.

Yet another connection: Mercury of Israel is on the Descendant of the US (#1 above) and thus the thinking and publications of Israel become very important to the US; the US identifies strongly with them and takes them as gospel. This you can see by reading or viewing just about any story about Israel in the mainstream media.
The MC/IC axis — one end the most public and the other the foundation or base — can be seen as the spine of the entity represented by the chart. This is a very important axis that does not get the recognition that it should; people often know their Ascendant sign but the Midheaven sign not so much.
Comparison of US and Israel
Mercury is conjunct the Midheaven of Israel (#3 above) so US press and other media, which is something Mercury represents, is closely aligned with the purpose and goals of Israel. But what is more important is the Mercury Pluto opposition of the United States is right along the primary axis of Israel.
The Mercury Pluto opposition of the United States represents the rules based order or more properly it can be stated as “we set the rules and you take our orders”. This potent force is combined with the spine of Israel; this show the cliche “a match made in heaven.”

Another connection, though wide, is the square (#1) between the Israel Sun at 23 Taurus 40 and the US Moon at 27 Aquarius 10. While this square is wide at three and a half degrees (#2) it obviously plays out in real life and suggests the strong connection between the US and Israel. I’m not saying they should get married (even though some say that Israel is the 51st state) but there are strong connections. In the situation following October 7, the Israel government had a strong impact on the US, so much so that after the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu condemned student protest in the USA, colleges fell over themselves to crack down on protestors, sometimes even calling in local police to do the job.
To summarize and recapitulate there is a strong connection between the United States and Israel which we can see played out daily.
The main indicator of the end of the 500 year party is the midpoint of the three outer planets happening now with Neptune at its crux, something that only happens every 500 years. This particular one goes on for a long time as you can see from the image below. This midpoint configuration lasts at least the ten years from 2021 to 2031 with the tightest midpoint in 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027. Notice that in 2025 this midpoint is on the Cardinal Axis making it even more potent.

At the same time as this important midpoint is happening, those three planets also make up a mini-grand trine, which is a trine and two sextiles. This formation goes on for the four year 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028 which is of course also crossing the Cardinal Axis in those first two years. The graphical ephemeris below is in the sixth harmonic which means that trines and sextiles appear as conjunctions.

For the last 500 years, starting in the late Fifteenth Century, this party has been increasing in both a geographical and physical sense until by this time in the early Twenty-First Century more and more of what are called third world countries are joining the party. People seem to believe it can go on forever.
If you want as astrological date for when this started look at the chart for 11-18-1485 where the ten known planets (even though three were unknown at the time) were the closest for 500 years; the next time this tightness happened was on 11-16-1982 for this end of the party moment.

But wait! There is a problem called anthropogenic climate change (ACC) that is going to end civilization as we know it. There is just too much carbon dioxide produced by fossil fuel powered automobiles and farming, especially of animals to produce meat and dairy. So we just have to eliminate those things and the world will be much better off.

I’ve previously introduced the terms Uranus and Pluto to denote the two real classes that make up our society. Uranus is the people, the plebs, the proletariat. Pluto is the elite, the one percent, the global capitalists (or as satirist C.J. Hopkins calls them Global Cap), the Deep State.
The problems of ACC is something that must be solved by methods that don’t upset Pluto too much. That is why they promote that problem and that solution. But I would argue that the problems resulting from the 500 year party are much more difficult and far-reaching than what they want Uranus to believe, and solving these problems will require taming, if not eliminating, Pluto. And that is certainly not acceptable to them and so they promote the idea of climate change and get everyone exited about it, whether for or against the solutions that Pluto is promoting. It’s another instance of “Don’t look there, look over here”. But of course doing that, following the direction of Pluto, will only cause the problems to get worse. After all Pluto is the ones who are most enjoying the 500 year party, and they have the most to lose if the world really deals with the problems.
When a party is over you need to clean up the messes and replenish your supplies. After a party of 500 years, and especially after the Neptune-Pluto conjunction of the Eighteen-Nineties (to be dealt with in a separate post) there is a massive mess.

To deal with all the problems created by the huge party civilization has been throwing for the last five centuries will involve first of all dealing with the Problem of Pluto which controls the media and the government which in turn sets the narrative of what is happening that we all believe. And of course Pluto does not want you looking at them, so they make you believe that the problem is something other then them. You would do the same thing if you were the problem. For example, if you beat your wife you must convince her the problem is the noisy neighbors in the apartment below.
The conflict in the world is between two opposing viewpoints: to make it more global, more a one world government or not. But the real solutions will involve more local (Uranus) that global (Pluto) and more natural (Uranus) rather than artificial (Pluto). But the world is moving towards the totally artificial with artificial food, artificial immunity, and the ultimate artificial intelligence. We need to move back towards natural food, natural immunity, and most of all natural intelligence, a characteristic that is becoming more and more scarce.
Over especially the last 100 years and more especially the last 30 years the people of the world, especially those in Western countries, have become more and more estranged from the natural world, and as a result the world has become more estranged from us. We need real solutions and those are not the solutions produced by Pluto.
American historians refers to certain periods of American history by the name of the Presidents who served at the beginning of that period. The first such example is the Age of Jackson, roughly from 1829 to 1850. Andrew Jackson introduced a more people oriented democracy and “the spoils system”. Later there was the Age of Roosevelt, from 1933 through perhaps 1975 where concern for people rather than big business took center stage. Then we have the Age of Reagan from 1981 through 2015 when neoliberalism took center stage. When American historians look back at this period they will call it “The Age of Trump”.
Love him or hate him — and there seems to be no middle ground — Donald Trump seems to get the most press coverage and is talked about more than anyone else in this period, whether or not he is occupying the White House. His fans worship him — one described a campaign rally as being “like Woodstock” and many are hoping for his re-election. On the other hand many think he is the most dangerous candidate to ever run for President and swear that his re-election will turn the country to be anti-democratic. (They assume this country is a democracy, a belief that was disabused several years ago by Professors Gilens and Page (for example see https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-echochambers-27074746)). Very few seem to notice that Donald Trump is the first American President to be born on the day of an eclipse. Eclipses are supposed to be special. He is indeed special. But how did we get here?
Uranus Square Pluto
It all started in 2010 when the opening square of Uranus and Pluto happened. This was the first major hard aspect since the conjunction of those two planets in the Sixties. This square lasted through 2016. There were events like the Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street happening at this time. Many people were getting quite upset at the elites that run the country and the world. In addition there was an opposition between Pluto and the US Sun, which meant also that Uranus was square the US Sun. In both the Republican and Democratic parties there were challengers to the established candidate who was running for the nomination of their respective parties. The Republicans had Donald Trump who no one in the party wanted but the people wanted. The Democrats had Bernie Sanders who no one in the party wanted but the people wanted. Turns out that the Republicans are more democratic than the Democrats and the rest is history. Considering the Uranus Pluto square on the US Sun it should be no surprise that the candidate who ran as an outsider and a maverick would win. It seems so obvious as we look at the transits. Perhaps the Democrats should hire an astrology consultant.
It seems recently there has been an uptake of support for Trump. There is an old idea (Lenin mentioned it 100 years ago) called “controlled opposition”. Everyone thinks Trump is an opposition to the “Deep State” (even though for example looking at the connection of his Vice President should negate that view). He vows to shut down the Deep State when elected (we can see how well he did in his first term) and this helped attract supporters. But appearing to be a dissident while secretly helping the Elite is very good for the Elite.

In the above image you can see the square of those two planets starts at 1 in 2012. The Pluto opposite and Uranus square the US Sun is exact at 2 in 2914. By 3 in late 2015 the last exact Pluto opposition takes place.
Trump Assassination Attempt
The assassination attempt on President Trump helped to build this image that he is an outsider that the Deep State either tried to kill or botched the security in a major manner. This assassination attempt is even less transparent than the assassination of Kennedy (either one). The incompetence of those protecting the President was so mammoth to be almost unbelievable. But at least it resulted in a picture so perfect a better job could not have been done in a studio. Here is a chart for that event. The Mars-Uranus conjunction is square Trump’s natal Mars, an astrological cliche for what happened.
Things really started to change with the debate between Presidents Biden and Trump, much earlier than is normal for Presidential debates. Here is a chart for the start of the debate between Biden and Trump on Biden’s natal. The first thing to notice is that Saturn is on his nadir. It has been found that a person’s connection/popularity with the outside world is shown by the position of Saturn in the chart: When it is at the Midheaven the world recognizes you and when it is at the nadir your popularity is also at its nadir. The second thing to notice is that Pluto is square his Moon. Also the Neptune is opposite is natal Neptune so he is facing a Neptune demi-return, just as the United States recently did and as Ted Kazinski — mentioned a few posts ago — did at his death.
Start of Debate
Obviously the Biden decline is very recent. Over the years many many journalists interacted with him and no one mentioned his decline. No journalist would ever cover up such an important development as the mental decline of the leader of the Free World and so there was no decline. I think it must have happened just before the debate. My feeling is that someone slipped him a drug, or neglected to give him a drug, so that his decline would be noticeable. Since there is much debate preparation before the big event it is hard to believe no one noticed Biden’s lack of mental acuity. Perhaps some Democrats just wanted to get him out of the way and they used the debate as a way to do such,
It should also be obvious that the President does not really make the important decision of running the country. He is just a figurehead, a representation of the country for the world. In this case I think Joe Biden is the prefect President of the United States and should be even better for the next four years
USA Election Day
Let us first look at the transits for the day of the election. Mars is opposite Pluto (1) reasonably tightly. This suggests war or upset — both planets are said to rule Scorpio. People might be upset, what a surprise! Whichever side wins the other side will be very angry — remember Russiagate and January 6. The Sun is trine Saturn (3) suggesting a conservative mood for the day. Venus– the lesser benefic — is opposing Jupiter– the Greater Benefic — (2) and that aspect is exact the Sunday before the election. This suggests much — perhaps excessive — good luck. But also remember that Venus and Jupiter conjunct the US Sun natally. Perhaps this is just an echo of that at the time of the US Pluto Return.
Election Day With US
Next let us look at those transit as they impinge the US chart. Saturn is square the US Ascendant (1) and trine the US Sun(2), again suggesting a conservative outcome. But of course what “conservative” means in this situation and which candidate is most conservative is an open question which I will leave up to the reader. I think the election will have “Conservative” results but these only mask the major changes that will develop in the next year.
Next let us look at the transits with the charts of the two main candidates. Of course, who the two main candidates are may change between now and the election, but at least I won’t share the charts for Joe Biden that I had prepared.
It is very interesting that the two major candidates are both Full Moon births, and at the time of the election they both have very definite and strong aspects to both their Sun and Moon. This seems like very rare coincidence.
Trump on Election Day
Donald Trump is the only President of the United States who was born on the day of an eclipse — the eclipse was about five hours after his birth. It is a lunar eclipse, which means a full Moon. This opposition of Venus and Jupiter falls on his Sun-Moon opposition with Jupiter on Sun and Venus on Moon. What are the odds! How great is that? It promises great good luck!! And if Trump is elected this time he will share a unique quality with only one other President — serving two non-consecutive terms. The other President with this uniqueness is Grover Cleveland, one of the few President who had a child (named Ruth) while in office who gave her name to a candy bar.
Note I use a chart for Donald Trump that is about an hour earlier than the “standard” birth time. This does not make a difference to the transits considered here. But this time is from the Trump family astrologer who worked for a local newspaper. It gives him Leo rising rather than the first degree of Virgo rising,
So right now everybody is either freaking out that Trump is shoe-in or preparing to welcome the return of the king. But not so fast; even in the best of time being a President is not a walk in the park, it is definitely not great good luck or even moderate luck. Traditionally when we look at the chart of a to-be president we see Saturn aspects and with Trump there are none. There were some in 2016 which made me think he’d be elected. The next four years may well see the end of the American Empire, or at least it will be more damaged than it has in the last four. Whoever is President during the next four years, and whichever party that President represent, will be damaged by the actions of that period. This will be anything but good luck unless that is said sarcastically.
In recent weeks, especially after the Debate and the attempted assassination of Trump we have seen more talk amongst previous Biden supporters that Trump won’t be so bad, that they can accept him.
While I really have no idea what will happen between now and the election, and there are sure to be many twists and turns and things that are now totally unexpected, here are two possible ideas I have for what those transits to Trump’s chart on election day mean.
Trump casts himself as someone who will battle and defeat the “Deep State”. If he is not elected it will show that the Deep State indeed hates him. If he is elected, either the Deep State is not very powerful (unimaginable) or the Deep State wants him to be elected. In this case the Venus-Jupiter on his Sun-Moon indicate that the way to the Presidency has been paved for him.
America will decline more in the next four years than it has in the preceding eight, and there is nothing that can change that at this late date. Trump will have great luck by not getting elected President, he will have dodged the bullet, to coin a phrase. By staying back he will increase his fame and glory, he will be universally regarded as a hero. Meanwhile the candidate who is elected President will and the party this candidate represent will be universally degraded. Perhaps that party will even die.
Harris on Election Day
If we look at the transits for Kamala Harris (who at time of writing seems to be the Democrats choice) we see a much different picture. Whereas Trump has much luck, Harris has much hard work. Notice that Saturn makes an almost exact semisquare and sesquiquadrate to her Sun and Moon; she has big time Saturn aspects with the orbs to both Sun and Moon very tight.
The whole things reminds me of an old song lyric: “Laugh about it/Shout about it/When you have to choose/Every way you look at it you lose”. Those words are even more true now then when Paul Simon wrote them almost 60 years ago. Perhaps America will re-evaluate the way power and elections are run in the country. That will be great good luck!
Just when I thought that Neptune could not get any more strongly blatant they prove me wrong. Of course, in these cases Neptune goes by the abbreviation BS. Or as Brick in the play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof might put it: this is mendacity, mendacity now controls everything. This occurs as Neptune approaches the Cardinal Axis the day before America’s birthday this year. Neptune then goes stationary retrograde within four minutes of the Aries Point. At the end of March next year Neptune actually crosses zero Aries. Then near the end of 2025 Neptune briefly returns back into Pisces before going back in to Aries in late January of 2026, never to return for over 150 years.
Neptune Almost to Aries Point
In February it was announced that Russian dissident Alexei Navalny died while in a prison in the very far North of Russia. All the Western commentators immediately assumed that he was murdered (by Putin of course), even though the announcement was that he died from a “blood clot” — there is a lot of that going around. I’ve been told that Navalny got a mRNA Covid vaccine injection while in Germany so we know he didn’t die of Covid-19. Teresa May, who was briefly Prime Minister of England, thought he was killed by British intelligence, but that probably is just home team pride. But as of now we have no idea how he died other than the statement about an embolism. Interestingly, both Russia and Ukraine agreed that Navalny died of natural causes.
Alexi Navalny
But the supposed murderer of Navalny — Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia — must be the dumbest leader of any nation in the world. First of all he announced the death which he must have known would be assumed to be a murder by leaders of the West. The cause of death was not said to be a suicide, which is the common way to cover up the death of a prisoner in a jail. I’m sure you can think of examples of this. And the timing was horrible since the Munich Security Conference (called the Davos of Defense) was starting the next day. This is an annual get together of NATO members and this one had Navalny’s wife in attendance, just an interesting coincidence I’m sure. Here was Navalny safely out of Putin’s hair (so to speak) and now he’s on everybody’s mind. And every political leader knows that the way to prevent a candidate from opposing you is to tie them up with legal problems, as was recently done in Pakistan and was done to Eugene Debs by President Woodrow Wilson for the 1916 Presidential election — I’m sure the reader can think of other examples. Putin is obviously so lacking in mental capability that one wonders why anyone is worried about him.
Pest Control
The is a video floating around the Internet of Navalny as a pest control salesman. For flies and cockroaches you can use a flyswatter or shoe, he says, as huge horrible closeups of those insects fill the screen, but for bigger pests — and here a Muslim pops up — you need a gun. Now if this ad appeared in America he would be instantly called a MAGA republican and a racist. Bur fortunately he is in an official enemy country and so held to a different standard. This version is in Russian but I’ve seen one with English subtitles.
Navalny was born at 1:30 in the afternoon. I’m always a little bit suspicious of a birthtime at the half hour, and even more at birthtimes to the nearest hour, but we’re lucky to have a birthtime at all. In this natal chart the predominant planet is Neptune which is opposite his Sun-Venus conjunction, and that is true no matter what the birthtime. This perhaps indicates that he is he good with the Neptune business, certainly appropriate for this time. At his death Pluto seems to be dominating with aspects to his Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven, and Saturn.
Death of Navalny
But a short time before his death Putin gave a half-hour lecture on the history of Russia and Ukraine going back to the Tenth Century when he was interviewed by an American journalist. So stupidity is not the problem. Thus we must assume that Putin takes some kind of pleasure in thumbing his nose at the West.
But since Putin is considered responsible for the death of dissident Alex Navalny I think it is only fair to place the responsibility for the death of American dissident Ted Kazinski in an American prison on President Biden. Kaczynski, also known as the Unibomber, had a good criticism of the industrial, technological world which was laid out in his manifesto (https://archive.nytimes.com/www.nytimes.com/library/national/unabom-manifesto-1.html). His problem was that he was not satisfied with just criticizing the industrial world, but rather took action that resulted in the deaths of many. His death in 2023 was called a suicide, but we know that excuse is often used when someone who is contentious dies in prison.
Ted Kaczynski
Kaczynski has a tight Uranus Sun conjunction, but Saturn is also there giving him a sense of both the new and the old; those two principles are fighting it out within his self. Mercury is conjunct the Ascendant and he is partially know for his writings the “Unibomber Manifesto”. When he died he was undergoing his Neptune demi-return, just like the United States is at the current time. When Neptune returns to a position opposite its natal position it is difficult as both Kaczynski and the United States would attest.
Death of Kaczynski
There is another dissident, a journalist, who died in a Ukrainian prison recently. The cause of death was given as pneumonia. His family blames the Ukrainian authorities. This journalist, Gonzalo Lira, was an American born in California (can’t get any more American than that!) and married a Ukrainian woman. The American government was warned often of bad outcomes when Lira was arrested by the Ukrainian authorities for criticizing the government’s war effort. One would think that an American held in a country that has a strong American connection would engender more concern than a citizen of a foreign country imprisoned in a place where America has no influence. But the amount of newspaper mentions of the two dissidents vary as the illustration below shows. These comparisons are not totally accurate since the record of Lira is 40 days versus only 6 days for Navalny.
The difference in the amount of coverage of these two case is staggering. For example, one survey shows Lira getting one mention in the NY Post and Newsweek while Navalny got 10 to 20 mentions for his death in all the standard sources such as CNN and the Washington Post, and all the others. Again, it helps to live in an official enemy.
Gonzalo Lira
We don’t have a birthtime for Lira so the Ascendant and Midheaven are unknown and the moon is within six degrees either way of its true position. I choose a time of 12 noon which splits the difference. He was born under a wide Uranus Pluto conjunction, a true child of the Sixties. There is a Uranus Moon opposition but how close it is depends on the birthtime. A Mars Saturn conjunction is close and difficult — the standard meaning is “driving with the brakes on”.
Death of Lira
Currently there is another journalist who is slowly being killed in his prison of Belmarsh, which is called Britain’s Guantanamo. The decision being made in Britain is whether this journalist — Julian Assange — will be extradited to the United States where he can be sentenced to a prison term of over 100 years. In his most despicable act, former President Trump attempted to sentence Assange for revealing United States war crimes. Once Joe Biden — the anti-Trump — took the Presidency one would assume that he would void the attempt to bring Assange — who is not an American — to the United States for trial. But he didn’t. Many are worried that Assange will commit suicide since he has been indoors for many years. The Democrats have assumed that Assange released stolen documents from Democrats that he got from the Russians; this release caused Hilary Clinton to lose an election for President that everyone assumed was hers so the Democrats are not sympathetic to Assange either.

This famous video that his organization, Wikileaks, released is called “Collateral Murder” and shows American troops in a helicopter in Iraq laughing as they shoot two Reuters journalists and a bystander who stops to help them. This video was release on April 10, 2010 at 10:44 EST. It shows the events of July 12, 2007: https://collateralmurder.wikileaks.org/. This was a primary reason for his problems with the American law.
Assange has Moon square his Midheaven and his connection with the public is strong. He has a Saturn-Neptune opposition in his natal chart and this combination has been talked about recently in this blog. His life has been dedicated to exposing those uncomfortable truths that seemed like a good idea before they were exposed.
As an American it seems to me that the country is on the verge of cracking up. As the statement — one that goes back to the Greeks — has it, those whom the gods will destroy they first drive mad.
